Apple Watch Repair & Service

If you purchased your Watch over a year ago or if you have accidentally damaged it (which isn't covered by the AppleCare Terms of Service) then consider Union Square Computers for your Watch repair. You will find that our repair price is a fraction of the cost of a new unit plus you will avoid the hassle & expense of having to drive to one of the stores in Charlotte.

Apple is pretty sneaky. Sometimes they use the same model number but use entirely different hardware. Please send your Watch's serial number so we know what we're dealing with.

The touch screen glass and case do a great job of protecting your Watch from every day use and abuse. But accidents do happen. The most common repair we perform is Watch screen replacement. Union Square Computers offers quick turnaround time on all Watch repairs. You need to remove the glass of course to swap out any parts on a Watch. To keep a Watch from boomeranging back at us we apply new adhesive and clamp it overnight. Because of this it's one of the few things we don't offer same-day service on. Anyone offering same-day repair is sacrifcng quality for speed.

First things first: Checking for Updates

Apple has released a number of updates to watchOS, the Watch's operating system, which fixes some bugs and adds features to your device.

To check for watchOS updates you simply go to Settings > General > Software Update. On iPads and iPhones you check through iTunes but you don't need to on an Apple Watch.

Watch charges slowly when plugged into a USB port

Clean the Watch and the unplugged charging cable with isopropanol (rubbing alcohol). The higher the percent of alcohol the better because when it says 72% alcohol it's 28% water. After everything is completely dry plug it in again. Also make sure all protective plastic is removed.
